Weekend is nearing by and the sun is shining brightly. Make your plans for the weekend without waiting for Friday! The weekend will fly away while thinking what to do. Our suggestion for this weekend is Emirgan – Istanbul… Emirgan Korusu (Emirgan Grove) has a wonderful view overlooking the Bosphorus and a beautiful garden , especially in spring while all the tulips have flowered. Emirgan is in the city and very easy to reach. You can start the day with a nice morning walk in Emirgan. Then, an elaborate breakfast and a cup of Turkish coffee by the sea. (In Turkish, the word “kahvaltı” means “before coffee”.)
You may plan a picnic in the Koru after breakfast. You will be impressed with the atmosphere of the Koru which has welcomed Ottoman Emperors and distinguished guests .
Apart from Emirgan Korusu, Belgrade Forest is a suitable place for a picnic. You will be freed from all stress, sitting under tall trees.
There are gardens where you can have tea, restaurants and cafes all the way along the Bosphorus, that is to say, there are many activities to be made in Emirgan. A good occasion to fill your weekend with the quietness and energy of nature. Have a nice weekend!
